TERMS & CONDITIONS

$75/hr extra charge on skins inadequately prepared. $10.00 extra charge for capes cut excessively long (i.e. pedestal mounts) Extra charges for inadequate preparation of skins or extra long capes may be billed separately. Skins with head will be charged 65% of life-sized price.
All foreign shipments are subject to a $75 USDA handling fee, plus $50 per skull for swine and primates and $10 for each additional contaminated skull. Skins are checked in daily. When your shipment has been received you will be mailed a confirmation of the items you have sent. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us immediately. When your skins have entered the tanning process, you will be invoiced for the complete charges* including freight. Please remit payment within 10-15 days of the date of the invoice. Any INVOICE unpaid after 30 days will automatically be sent out C.O.D. (Money Order or Cashiers Check Only) All skins unclaimed after ninety days (90) can be sold. In the event that your items are lost or damaged while in the possession of The Wildlife Gallery, including when your item is trucked from a Wildlife Gallery intake facility, The Wildlife Gallery's liability for loss, damage, or delay is limited to the fair market value of the item at the time of the loss, damage, or delay. The Wildlife Gallery, under no circumstances, shall be liable for extra, consequential, or special damages, no matter how caused. By remitting skins for tanning, you agree to limit damages as set forth above and according to the terms above. You understand that, due to many factors that have an effect on the final result of fur dressing, all tanning is accepted at the owner's risk, and The Wildlife Gallery cannot, and does not guarantee a specific result. We reserve the right to refuse to process and handle skins that are unfit to be tanned hair-on. 50 % extra charge on rush orders. Prices subject to change without notice. *Insurance on return shipments is provided only upon request.

Attention Wet Tan Customers: "Wet tan customers must have a credit card on file or make prior payment arrangements with the billing department. Wet tans are shipped on the Monday or Tuesday following completion. Unpaid wet tan invoices will be automatically shipped out C.O.D (Money Order or Cashiers Check only) one week after completion."

International Shipments: Please contact us should you have clients hunting abroad and we will put you in contact with our preferred broker.

Rehydration Instructions: For every 5 gallons of luke warm water, add 1 handful of salt. Dissolve well and soak skins for 30-45 minutes. Drain well and place them in a plastic bag to sweat over night in a refrigerated area. For optimal performance, freeze skins prior to mounting. For bears, soak only the head and paws. The rest of the bear can be sponged, thus keeping the hair dry and clean.
