While "birds of prey" come under jurisdiction of the United States Federal Government they are not to be hunted or collected. The artificial recreation is a truly amazing way to own an impression of certain unique birds of prey. Newmyer began hand painting and constructing hundreds of feathers from domesticated birds several years ago, recreating pieces like those seen here.
